Element x Griffin Studio Collection
Sustainability is everywhere and everybody can contribute. For iconic outdoor designer Jeff Griffin, it can be as simple as re-purposing fabrics sitting in unused factories and mills: “We all can make better choices and embrace sustainability. The new collaboration with Griffin Studio is based on this statement.
For Spring 21, Griffin Studios' family-ran carbon-neutral design lab located on the rugged Atlantic coast of South West England- have used the specialty deadstock military fabrics from two high-end European mills: Italy's Majocchi and Belgium's Utexecel, established in 1929.
Revived by his creative specifications, these garments have been redesigned, giving the fabric a new purpose and renewed functionality. A simple but great idea - in line with Griffin Studio's sustainable idea of innovation, part design lab, part eco-retreat. The unisex capsule includes a reversible jacket, vest, pants (made in Italy), and a hoodie (made in Portugal).
